The problem we exist to fix

Across the continent a compounding information gap persists: African news is fragmented, published primarily in English for urban elites, expensive to reach on mobile data, and structurally excluded from an audio-first habit that the majority of Nigerians live inside every day via WhatsApp voice notes and radio. The region needs an infrastructural Provenance Engine married to an Offline Audio Engine. No incumbent owns both.

Our solution

Narvo operates a proprietary Hybrid Sandwich pipeline. It ingests arrays of articles, clusters events dynamically via pgvector, synthesises concise broadcast narratives using Groq LPUs, verifies facts against Africa Check and Dubawa via retrieval-augmented generation, and renders the output as culturally authentic audio through YarnGPT and OmniVoice — delivered over Backblaze B2 + Cloudflare with zero egress fees.

Every story carries a Provenance Tag: explicit source outlets, an AI disclosure line, and a corroboration level from single_source through strong_consensus. Trust is engineered into the product at a protocol level, not added as a marketing afterthought.

Who this entity serves

  • Everyday African listeners meet us through Narvo (narvo.news) — the consumer app — and Narvo Live (narvo.live), the auth-free surface that opens directly from a WhatsApp share link.
  • Newsrooms and developers meet us through Narvo Platform (platform.narvo.news) — the versioned, multi-tenant API for synthesis, TTS, translation, and provenance.
  • Investors, regulators, institutional journalists, and prospective hires meet us here — at narvointelligence.xyz.

Where we operate

The operating team is based in Lagos and Abuja, with remote collaborators across the continent and the diaspora. Narvo Intelligence is incorporated as a UK Ltd (Companies House) with a parallel Delaware C-Corp for Stripe-managed diaspora billing and a primary Nigerian operating entity registered with CAC. The dual-entity structure is deliberate: it lets us serve ₦50/day micro-billing via Paystack while simultaneously running $1.99/mo diaspora subscriptions through Stripe — without either pipeline compromising the other.

What we are not

We are not a content studio. We do not employ journalists to write original reporting. We are an intelligence layer: a neutral, verifiable synthesis engine that amplifies the institutional outlets already doing the work — Africa Check, Dubawa, Punch, Vanguard, Channels, BusinessDay, and their peers. We compete on latency, language coverage, and provenance integrity, not on original scoops.
